Harley Quinn for the all-female Suicide Squad spin-off Birds of Prey. On Sunday Margot Robbie was on set in Los Angeles to shoot some action-packed night scenes, while rocking one of her character's signature colourful looks.
The Australian actress showed off her hard work in the gym prepping for the role, rocking gold harlequin print dungarees. The overalls were unzipped to show off Margot's hot pink crop top, while the pig-tailed star expertly balanced on rollerskates in between takes. The shot saw the actress on the back of a flatbed truck as she filmed a car chase scene on the empty streets of LA. Margot revealed she would reprise her role as demented doctor Quinn back in September, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The starlet also confirmed she would produce the Cathy Yan directed film, which revolves around a group of all female supervillains.
Taking to Instagram in November, Margot shared the full name of the film under a snap of the script: Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).
The film will focus on a group of female superheroes and supervillains, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Huntress and Black Canary, according to Variety.
